Privacy Policy
Your data stays yours.

VaporTab 3000 does not operate user accounts, collect analytics, serve advertisements, sell personal information, or send telemetry to its developer. Your settings stay in your browser.
Information We Collect
VaporTab 3000 does not collect or sell personal information.
The extension does not:
- Operate a developer-controlled database of user information
- Collect browsing or search history for the developer
- Collect analytics or usage statistics
- Track activity across websites
- Display advertisements
- Upload bookmarks, open-tab lists, or preferences to the developer
Local Storage
VaporTab 3000 stores preferences locally in your browser. Depending on the features you use, locally stored information may include:
- Theme selection
- Bookmark click counts, layout, ordering, and fixed-order preference
- Panel visibility and interface preferences
- Recent tab activity used to label open tabs
- Status services that you add to the Net Ops panel
This information remains in your browser profile. VaporTab 3000 does not transmit these settings to the developer.
Browser Permissions
VaporTab 3000 requests permissions only to provide its visible features:
- Bookmarks — Displays, organizes, reorders, and creates bookmark stacks.
- Tabs — Displays and manages currently open tabs.
- Favicon (Chrome only) — Reads browser-cached site icons for bookmark and tab cards. Firefox packages do not request this unsupported permission.
- New Tab Override — Replaces the browser's default new-tab page with VaporTab 3000.
These permissions are not used to build a user profile or send browser data to the developer.
Internet Connectivity
Most VaporTab 3000 features run locally. Some visible features make limited requests directly from your browser:
- Public status services The Net Ops panel requests operational status from GitHub Status and any additional status pages you choose to add.
- Google favicon service When a browser-cached icon is unavailable, the extension may send the relevant bookmark or tab URL to Google's favicon service to retrieve an icon.
- User-requested navigation Opening a bookmark, switching to a website, or submitting a web search connects to the destination you selected in the normal way.
These requests are made to provide the feature you see. VaporTab 3000 has no developer-operated server and does not receive a copy of these requests.
Third-Party Services
VaporTab 3000 does not include third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash reporting tools. Public status providers, Google, search providers, and websites you open may process normal connection information under their own privacy policies.
Children's Privacy
VaporTab 3000 does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
If VaporTab 3000 gains features that change its privacy practices, this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
Contact
